Security forces killed four terrorists during an encounter in Asharban village of Charbagh area of Swat Valley while one terrorist was killed and three soldiers were injured in South Waziristan Agency. In 'Operation Rah-e-Nijat' security forces neutralised two improvised explosive devices (IED) while two soldiers were injured due to an IED blast in Jandola sector, said a spokesman of Inter-Services Public Relations here on Monday.

He said the security forces conducted search and clearance operation in Spin Narai near Ghani Khel village of Shakai Sector of SWA. During the operation terrorists attacked the forces and after fierce battle, forces killed one terrorist, he added.

The spokesman said terrorists used small arms and rockets at Trikali Kubrai near Ghani Khel village of Shakai Sector where one soldiers sustained injuries. Security forces carried out area domination of Pash Ziarat, Marobi Ragzai and Manakai Algad areas near Makeen in Razmak Sector, he said.

The ISPR spokesman said during the 'Operation Rah-e-Raast' in Swat and other parts of Malakand Division, security forces conducted search and clearance operation at Asharban near Charbagh. During encounter two of terrorists were killed. He said security forces conducted search and clearance operation in Sharn, Nasapai and Ochar near Sakhara and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunitions. He said security forces conducted search and clearance operation at Wainai Bridge near Chuprial, Kuz Nawagai near Ambela, Tando Dag near Kabal and apprehended two suspects.
